I have a friend who refuses to take any kind of stop smoking medication because her neighbor gained 25 pounds quitting with an aid, and then had a mini-stroke that sent her to the hospital. She’s going cold turkey because of the horror stories. I told her that everyone reacts differently, and that she should talk to her doctor about side effects if she’s concerned.

The low doses used for smoking ceasation is easily dropped off.
I took it, but was pulled off too soon.
The side effects I had at first wore off after a day or so, they included; Headache, metalic taste in my mouth, slight rash, ringing in my ears and an upset stomach. But as I said, they went away fairly quickly and none were all that sevear at all.
I'd go back on it in a heartbeat. Just waiting for my medical benefits to kick in with this new job…

If that is the same as Wellbutrin ,Then the side effect is I stopped smoking 8 years ago .

It added 25 pounds to me which made me even more depressed and also caused a mini stroke that hospitalized me for 2 days. Decided to get off it and go natural. Much better now

hi every1, i have been off the cigs 3 months nw, im 18, and ever since i have came off them i have had the worst time of my life, 1. panic attacks, 2. worrying about my weigh also depression, could some1 help me and tell me are these side effects?? thanks
