You are talking about Pfizer's Chantix (http://www.chantix.com), which has been on the market for several months. It's not nicotine, but the medication works on the same area of the brain as nicotine and blocks the brain's cravings. It requires a prescription, though, so you'll have to discuss it with your doctor.
